Barclay St. James is an
International Fund Distribution Company established in 2001. It is domiciled
in the Caribbean lead by a team of Directors at the forefront of the
Financial Services Industry.
The distribution effort is headed by Greg Molyneux, an individual with
twenty plus years experience in the Offshore Financial Services Industry,
latterly as Regional Director for The Skandia Group in the Middle East and
Africa.
Barclay St. James operates solely via a network of Independent Financial
Advisors (IFA’s) based in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Far East.
Private investors with an interest in any of the funds described on this
website will be directed to an Independent Financial Advisor nearest to
where they are located, should they contact Barclay St. James.
The company specialises in identifying the best funds available across a
number of asset classes with the underlying brief of capital protection/low
risk and non-coloration. Barclay St. James will periodically add new funds
to the stable as and when suitable funds are identified.
The founding funds distributed by Barclay St. James include a Traded
Endowment Policy (TEP) fund, (Protected Asset TEP Fund
www.patf.co.im ), a
UK Commercial Property Fund, (Glanmore UK Commercial Property Fund
www.glanmore.com ) and a CTA Hedge Fund, (Aspect Capital Master Fund
www.aspectcapital.com ). Further details of all of these funds can be found
by clicking the links, or contacting Greg Molyneux on
info@barclaystjames.com or
use the Contact Us form. Barclay St James
has recently established an Investor Relations Division. The main aim of
this part of the business is to alert IFA’s to certain exciting investment
opportunities in Canadian Junior resource companies. By the nature of the
sector, these are high risk and therefore potentially high return companies.
The sector however, is currently a year into a perceived 5 year bull market.
Raising capital for exploration is quite easy for the right project. These
investments are designed for clients who want to add some “sparkle” to their
portfolios, and should only form a low percentage, typically 5%. Please
